Riley Oickle’s Journey
Riley grew up in a very rural place in Nova Scotia, Canada where he was a track and field star during his teenage years. He attended Western University in London, Ontario where he started networking and building a home maintenance company. Eventually, Riley started coaching other students on how to start a business through the Student Works organization.
First Steps in Real Estate Investing
Riley started his journey in the real estate industry as the Head of Acquisitions & Property Management for a successful real estate investor. This is where he learned all of the ins and outs of finding off-market properties, raising capital, dealing with tenants, overseeing renovations and managing finances for a large portfolio.
Ultimately, this gave him the knowledge and confidence to transition into buying his own rental properties. He founded RO Capital Investments Inc. and started purchasing rental properties. He lived on job sites, knocked on doors to find off-market deals, and began building a team to help with the workload.

Riley used creative financing strategies and the BRRRR method to acquire 16 rental properties across Canada. He also continued to manage 80 units for himself and other investors. In early 2021, he launched RentalConsulting.com to specialize in helping investors obtain great return on investments and automate their business to unlock time and location freedom.
Today, Riley owns a real estate portfolio worth over $10 million. It consists of long-term and short-term rental properties, including single-family homes to large multi-family properties across six different markets in Canada. He continues to develop systems and processes while expanding his own portfolio of rental properties.
Where We’re at Now
The members at RentalConsulting.com have bought over $75 million worth of real estate using systems and processes they learned inside of the private mentorship community. Riley had provided consultation on over 500 rental property projects, and his “Your First Income Property Program” gained recognition and was featured in Business London Magazine as one of the top 20 businesses in London, Ontario after helping over 200 clients get started in real estate investing.
